School Design

• School day/year : Our day runs from 8:00 – 4:30pm and a longer school year beginning in mid-August and ending late June.

• Two teachers : Each preschool to kindergarten class is taught by two highly qualified teachers.

• All male educational environment :  Our school design and teaching practices address the unique learning needs and styles of boys.

• Looping:   The teachers in the early grades will stay with their students for at least two years to develop strong, nurturing relationships.

• Academic focus : Our early childhood program balances student development between academic skills and social/emotional development to prepare each student to be school ready.

• Safe and caring environment : We believe that safety and caring go hand-in-hand with a highly structured, disciplined school where each student is treated fairly, taught to do the right thing, and held to the highest level of accountability.

• Character development: Our Code of Conduct develops young men of character and caliber.

• School Uniform: Clark Scholars wear the school uniform each day. Boys wear khaki pants, black dress shoes, black belt, and a tucked-in forest green polo shirt.
